McBride (6-foot-4, 332 pounds) is projected as an offensive guard or a defensive tackle. He has offers from Auburn, Florida State, Mississippi State, Kentucky, Louisville, Marshall, South Florida, Central Florida, Florida International, Florida Atlantic, Ohio and Western Kentucky.
Rivals.com rates him as the No. 21 offensive guard in the country, while 247Sports lists him as the No. 24 defensive tackle. Both rate him as a three-star prospect.
The Opening is a 7-on-7 competition for top recruits in Beaverton, Ore.
McBride told Rivals.com earlier this month Alabama began recruiting him in May.
“I like how dominant they are," he told Rivals. “They impose their will on anyone. They make the other teams quit. They are successful every year. They aren't good for a time, and then fade away. They are always good. They are known for putting linemen in the league. That's what I really like about them.”
McBride is the 15th commitment in Alabama's 2014 class. Alabama already had three other offensive linemen committed -- Viane Talamaivao of Corona (Calif.) Centennial, J.C. Hassenauer of Woodbury (Minn.) East Ridge and Dominick Jackson of the College of San Mateo -- and two other defensive tackles: Johnny Dwight of Rochelle (Ga.) Wilcox County and O.J. Smith of Bossier City (La.) Airline.
