Tip of the Hat: Good luck to Miss Alabama
We extend our best wishes for success to Miss Alabama, Chandler Champion, as she prepares to represent our state this September in the Miss America pageant.

A native of Leeds, both of Champion’s parents are Munford High School graduates, and she has an uncle on the Munford Town Council.

The Miss America pageant has inspired countless young women to strive to be the best they can be, and while each level of competition has only one crown, all of the contestants have opportunities to profit from the process. Meeting the other young women helps each one learn to appreciate the skills, talents and special abilities of the others as they do their best to win scholarships and the chance to achieve their goals.

We wish Champion the best of luck in her dream of competing in the Miss America pageant.
