Former Alabama linebacker Dont’a Hightower signs a football for Gordon Tidwell at Bamawear in Childersburg on Saturday. The concensus First Team All-American recorded 85 tackles and four sacks last season for the Crimson Tide, who won the BCS National Championship. Hightower has decided to forego his final season of eligibility and enter the 2012 NFL Draft, where analysts have projected him as a first or second round draft pick.
