Patterson was initially charged with driving under the influence while the state troopers finished up their investigation, and posted a $1,000 bond for the misdemeanor.
It has been confirmed by the District Attorney’s Office that Patterson has officially been charged with one count of manslaughter, and two counts of leaving the scene of an accident with injury, now that the state troopers have concluded their investigation.
“We can confirm that he was arrested,” said Chief Assistant District Attorney Christina Kilgore. “It appears that he may bond due to the public record showing a consolidated appearance bond of $50,000.”
Patterson’s hearing is set for 1 p.m. on Nov. 6 in District Court Judge Ryan Rumsey’s court in Sylacauga.
