The conference, held every two years, is 9:30 a.m.-3:15 p.m. at the Pell City Civic Center. The conference is free to attend but registration is required.
Conference topics include updates on water quality, Alabama Power Company’s Renew Our Rivers program, ongoing activities in the Coosa’s Georgia headwaters, and threatened and endangered species in the basin.
Loggers and foresters may receive PLM (6 hours) and CFE (4.5 hours Category 3) credits. There is a $50 charge for those wishing to receive credits. Payments by cash or check are accepted at the door. Registration is required.
