A two-vehicle accident on the 275 Bypass and Jackson Trace Road sent two people to the hospital Tuesday afternoon. According to Talladega Police Capt. Leon Thomas, a GMC 1600 hauling a washer and dryer was southbound on the bypass and a Chevrolet HHR was crossing on Jackson Trace when the two vehicles collided. A male passenger in the GMC and a female passenger in the Chevrolet were transported to the emergency room at Citizens Baptist Medical Center, but no information on either person’s condition was available Tuesday.
