cost: Free for any active, Guard or Reserve military member, as well as any veteran of any U.S. armed forces, their spouse/partner, widow(er), and children. No age restrictions. Open to the general public for $14 or $12 for current AARP members.

Tuesday, November 27, LINCOLN PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT will host a one-day, AARP Driver Safety class that will be free for any active, Guard or Reserve military member, as well as any veteran of any U.S. armed forces, their spouse/partner, widow(er), and children. No age restrictions. Class will start at 8:30 AM and end by 3:30 PM. Drivers age 55 or older may qualify for an insurance discount. This class is also open to the general public for $14 or $12 for current AARP members. Class size limited. To register, call (205) 763-1006.
